Mason Ligenza hurled a perfect game, striking out 16 and walking none, leading Tamaqua to a 3-0 Schuylkill League shutout over Panther Valley. Ligenza, the Blue Raiders’ ace, dominated on the mound to secure the win.
Logan Morgans paced Tamaqua with two singles, a run scored, and an RBI. Luke Kane added two singles and a run, while Maximus Najarro contributed two singles.

Palmerton snapped Stroudsburg’s five-game win streak and extended its own to seven with a 7-4 non-conference victory. The Bombers erupted for six runs in the first inning.
Corey Serfass delivered a two-run single in the opening frame. AJ Borger, Luke Matsko, and Mason George each added RBI singles, and Jason Carrelli capped the inning with a fielder’s choice RBI. Mason Becker added an insurance run in the sixth, scoring on a wild pitch.

Nikolas Schwartz pitched a complete-game three-hit shutout, striking out five and walking two. Zack Murphy led the offense with a single, double, and two RBIs.
Kaden Hess added two singles and scored twice. Brody Schrantz and Schwartz each contributed a single and a double.
For Lehighton, Jayse Lawrence had two singles, while Aidan Albert and Aiden Solt each added a single.

Jim Thorpe-Lehighton
Lehighton scored four runs in both the first and fourth innings to defeat Jim Thorpe 11-1 in Colonial League action.
Ava Trach led the Indians, going 2-for-3 with two RBIs and two runs scored. Olivia Sheckler added two RBIs. Aliyah Nothstein pitched six innings, allowing one run on five hits and striking out five.
Jim Thorpe’s lone run came from Mara Levins, who was 2-for-3 at the plate.

Tegan Simms went 3-for-4 with three RBIs and two runs scored for the Bulldogs. Aubrey Reinhard and Kylee Snyder added two RBIs apiece on multi-hit performances.
Simms also earned the win in the circle, striking out four and allowing just two runs on four hits and one walk.
