State police at Fogelsville

State police at the Fogelsville barracks reported the following incidents:

• Police were called to Lynn Township at 9:21 a.m. April 21 regarding an injured minor.

They said the incident is under investigation after they received notification of the case through the state’s Childline program.

• A 36-year-old New Tripoli man is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance.

The charges stem from a traffic stop at 2:58 a.m. April 17, according to police.

The man was stopped in a 2007 Volvo on Bausch Road in Lynn Township.

• A 54-year-old woman from Orefield was targeted in a theft incident police were called to at 4 p.m. March 29 at Apollo Court, Lowhill Township.

Police said it was determined she was scammed out of $1,000 on Facebook Marketplace.

• Police were called to a theft by deception incident at noon April 18 on Golden Key Road, Lynn Township.

A 63-year-old man from New Tripoli reported that his personal information was used in an attempt to open several lines of credit.

They said the man’s credit card and Social Security numbers were frozen before any monetary loss.
