A Summit Hill man faces charges after police say he threatened to shoot his girlfriend during a domestic dispute Sunday night.
Eric Trevorah, 38, of East Hazard Street, was arraigned on charges of terroristic threats, simple assault and harassment Monday and jailed in the Carbon County Correctional Facility in Nesquehoning in lieu of $25,000 bail.
According to court papers, police responded to a call just after 11:30 p.m. and spoke to the victim, who had fled the residence. She confirmed her boyfriend was the man inside the doorway and made the threat.
Police took Trevorah into custody at gunpoint without incident, court papers said.
The girlfriend told police that she and Trevorah had been arguing all evening over chores, and she went downstairs and started cleaning. He came down and stood on the stairs, attempting to talk to her, she told police.
Trevorah became angry and stated that he was going to get his gun and shoot her, and she told him that she would call 911, court papers said.
He attempted to take her phone, and she fled the residence with her phone and called 911.
