The United States used to be an honorable nation; it no longer is.

Recently food trucks from all over the country were stopped, detained, and forbidden to continue to their destinations; food banks. that food is now rotting on more trucks. What a terrible waste of resources. Also, we are punishing needy people for being poor, and that is cruelty beyond cruelty. We used to take care of each other.

Pope Francis spent his entire life ministering and uplifting poor and marginalized people around the world. The least we can do is prevent our own citizens from starving.
