Street sweeping in Lansford borough will begin next week, borough officials announced.
The streets will be posted with “No Parking” signs the day before the scheduled sweeping, and any vehicle not moved is subject to being ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense.
The scheduled is subject to change depending on work schedules and weather conditions.
The street sweeper can run in light rain, but if there is a steady rain or heavy downpour, that day’s street will be moved to the end of the list.
On the day of sweeping, parking will be prohibited starting at 7 a.m. and continue until the sweeping is completed.
This is the schedule: Monday, all of the north side of Patterson Street and Andrewsville; Tuesday, all of the south side of Patterson Street and Springgarden Street; Wednesday, all of the north side of Ridge Street and both sides of Snyder Street; Thursday, all of the south side of Ridge Street and both sides/all of Kline Avenue.
Continuing May 9, all of the north side of Bertsch Street and both sides/all of Water Street; May 12, all of the south side of Bertsch Street and both sides/all of Front Street; May 13, all of the north side of Abbott Street and all east side hills; and May 14, all of the south side of Abbott Street and all west side hills.
