His offensive output helps make a winner of starting pitcher Eddie Gargula, who allows just four hits and three walks, while striking out a whopping 18. Bobby Gelatko adds a pair of hits, one a double, and scores two runs. Karnish also contributes offensively, collecting two hits and two RBIs. Gargula helps his own cause by chipping in with a double and a run, as does Ron Swider.
