April 19, 1982 — Northern Lehigh receives multiple wins from five different athletes to gain a sweep of East Stroudsburg in a Centennial League track and field meet. Rick Weber takes the 800 and 110 hurdles, while Brian Waylen captures the 1600 and high jump as the Bulldog boys gain a 103-47 victory. The winners also receive firsts from Chadd Miller in the discus and javelin. In the girls competition, Melissa Shiner claims the 100 and 200 during a 79-62 triumph. The Bulldogs also get a pair of firsts from Angela Scarselletti in the long and triple jumps.
