State police at the Stroudsburg barracks reported the following incidents:
• A 25-year-old Stroudsburg man was charges with strangulation after police took him into custody on March 27 on a warrant that was issued against him.
Police said it is alleged he assaulted a 20-year-old Albrightsville woman at 4:14 p.m. March 26 at a residence on Jennifer Circle, Price Township.
• Police said a 30-year-old man from Brooklyn, New York, reported that $9,625 worth of high-end designer clothes and shoes were stolen from a site on Hidden Lake Road, Middle Smithfield Township.
He told police the following Dior items were taken: low-top sneakers valued at $1,150; a slide camel calfskin, $775; sandals, $970; two hooded sweatshirts, $1,150 each; a polo shirt, $690; a wool sweater, $1,200; a short-sleeved shirt, $1,650; and sweatshirt, $890.
• Police said that they were called at 4:39 a.m. March 29 to investigate a theft at a property on Shafer Road, Hamilton Township.
The items taken from a motor vehicle were valued at $5,000, according to police.
