State police at the Hazleton barracks reported the following incidents:

* Police are investigating theft of $94,159.48 from a victim on Kline Road, Banks Township.

It was reported to them at 3:18 p.m. March 11.

Police said it was determined someone completed fraudulent transfers in that amount from the victim’s bank account.

* A 35-year-old Beaver Meadows woman is the victim of a harassment by communications incident.

Police said she arrived at their barracks at 11:39 a.m. March 12 to report the incident.

* A 38-year-old Freeland man is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop police made at 8:10 p.m. March 14.

He was stopped in a 2010 Volkswagen Jetta for a Motor Vehicle Code violation on Broad Street in Beaver Meadows.
