Lower Towamensing Township approved the following items last week:

• Hanover Engineering letter dated Feb. 10 recommending final approval of the Serfass minor subdivision.

• Serfass and Ziegenfus deeds of dedication.

• J. George/G. Messinger minor subdivision time extension.

• Hanover Engineering letter dated Feb. 13 recommending final approval of the Stoltzfus & Lorah annexation plan.

• Two deed of dedication easements to the Stoltzfus & Lorah annexation plan.

• Hanover Engineering letter dated Jan. 15 recommending final approval of the Strohl minor subdivision and deed of dedication.

• Mutual aid agreement for plowing with Palmerton.

• Garbage waiver requests for 1115 Fireline Road and 1680 Dairy Road.

They also took the following actions:

• Adopted the volunteer tax credit ordinance and the Portnoff agreement and ordinance.

• Appointed township secretary/treasurer RoniSue Ahner as administrator of the System for Award Management.

• Tabled adoption of the employee handbook.
