The Ryan Township Fire Company celebrated its 38th anniversary with a dinner and dance Saturday with over 200 persons in attendance.

President William Wildoner delivered words of welcome and commented on the achievement of the fire company in paying the $100,000 debt for the new building in two years, along with completing payment on the fire company grove.

The company honored John W. Faust as the Fireman of the Year, while the Fire Company Award was presented to Albert Yatsko. Presenting the awards were George Sanchez and William O’Brien, respectively.
