The Panther Valley Senior Center announced the menu for Nov. 11-15.

Monday: Center closed

Tuesday: Roast Pork, Mashed Potatoes, Cabbage with Apples, Cookie or Beef and Cheese Sandwich

Wednesday: Baked Fish, Macaroni and Cheese, Wax Beans, Pineapples or Greek Salad

Thursday: Stuffed Chicken Breast, Parsley Potatoes, Brussels Sprouts, Pudding or Tuna Sandwich

Friday: Spaghetti and Meatballs, Vegetable Blend, Fruit Salad or Chicken and Cheese Sandwich

The senior center also announced the following events.

Center closed on Nov. 11; Birthday Bingo on Nov. 12 at 10:45 a.m.; Po-Keeno on Nov. 13 at 11 a.m.; Game Day on Nov. 14 at 11 a.m.; Skeeball on Nov. 15 at 11 a.m.

Family Feud on Nov. 18 at 11 a.m.; Bingo on Nov. 19 at 10:45 a.m.; Name That Tune on Nov. 20 at 11 a.m.; Po-Keeno on Nov. 21 at 11 a.m.; Movie and Popcorn on Nov. 22 at 10 a.m.

Cards, Pool, Games, available daily from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. New members are welcome.

Panther Valley Library

The Panther Valley Public Library will hold Fall Story Hour for children ages 3-5 on Nov. 20 and Dec. 4 and 18 beginning at 10 a.m.

There will be a story, craft and light snack.

Medicare help

Appointments are now available at the Panther Valley Public Library, Summit Hill Heritage Center and Panther Valley Senior Center in Nesquehoning for seniors looking to save money on Medicare and prescription plans.

Appointments through Carbon County Area Agency on Aging will help individuals make the best decision on prescription plans for them.

Appointments are from 9 a.m. to noon at:

• The Summit Hill Heritage Center: Nov. 13, 20 and 27; and Dec. 4.

• Panther Valley Library: Nov. 15, 22 and 29; and Dec. 6.

Appointments from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at:

• Panther Valley Senior Center: Nov. 19.
