The Lehighton Area Heritage Alliance will hold its monthly meeting at 6 p.m. Monday at the Mahoning Sunday School at 4 Grist Mill Road, Lehighton (corner of Mahoning Drive East and Grist Mill Road).

All are welcome to join us in discussing and preserving the history of Lehighton and its surrounding townships. However, note that the building is not handicap accessible, and there are no indoor restroom facilities. An outhouse is available. Parking is limited, so if possible, please plan to carpool.

Everyone is encouraged to bring a Lehighton-related old photo, memory, or artifact to share with the group at the end of the meeting.

The Haunted History Ghost Walks will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. on Oct. 26 at the Witches’ Market.
