What has Washington given over the last four years? Record prices, wide-open borders, and a whole lot of finger-pointing. Through it all, one thing has become clear: Washington isn’t putting us first.
Now, in the race for Congress here in Carbon County, we’re faced with a clear choice: Are we going to continue down the road of high prices, open borders, and Washington dysfunction? Or are we going to change course and elect candidates who will fight for our communities and put working families first?
During my time representing you in the Pennsylvania State House, I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with Rep. Ryan Mackenzie. While Washington was busy setting us back and playing the blame game, Ryan and I worked together on policies that would improve the safety and prosperity of our families, neighborhoods, and communities. When prices soared as a result of out-of-control spending, Ryan and I worked to reduce the tax burden on families and seniors. While out-of-touch politicians were waging war on Pennsylvania energy and driving up prices, Ryan and I worked to prevent radical tax increases that would have sent heating bills soaring. And while Washington was throwing open our southern border and unleashing a wave of illegal immigrants and fentanyl onto our communities, I worked with Ryan to pass tough new laws protecting Pennsylvania workers and residents.
Ryan is exactly the kind of leader that we need in our district — he knows how to cut through the noise and deliver the results that his constituents need. On Nov. 5, I hope that the people of Carbon County will join me in electing someone who will fight for our communities and bring the change that we need. That means electing Ryan Mackenzie to the US Congress.
