October 11, 2013 — Panther Valley uses a big second half to gain a 34-21 victory over Shenandoah Valley. The Panthers, coached by Lon Hazlet, trail by nine points at the break before scoring four touchdowns over the final two quarters to pull out the victory. PV’s special teams and defense spark the comeback, as Kyle Emmert collects a bad snap on a Shenandoah punt attempt and returns it 25 yards for a score. Moments later, Dylan Moyer intercepts a pass and races 23 yards to the end zone. The offense finishes off the win, as Richard Nase breaks free for a 56-yard run in the fourth quarter, and Kyle Ferryman adds a 94-yard TD run.
