Save A Life Day events will be hosted by River Lotus Healing and the Sync Recovery Community Thursday in Lansford, Lehighton and Tamaqua.

Volunteers will give out free naloxone, a nasal spray medication that reverses opioid overdoses, and provide training on its use. Information on local resources will also be provided.

Volunteers will be at Alfies Pizza on First Street in Lehighton and next to the Turkey Hill on West Patterson Street in Lansford from noon to 4 p.m., and at Hope and Coffee on Pine Street in Tamaqua from 11 to 2 p.m.
