The Pleasant Valley School Board approved the following contracts at its meeting last Thursday:

• Professional services for the high school renovation project — CHA Consulting Inc., $29,597.94; and Element Environmental, $2,044.

• Colonial Intermediate Unit 20 — Special education contract for 2024-25 school year, cost for special education services are estimated to be $2,392,402.

• Colonial Intermediate Unit 20 — To provide homebound services for students in the Pleasant Valley School District at a rate of special education teacher, $59.17 per hour per student plus mileage, and associate teacher, $24.38 per hour per student plus mileage for the 2024-25 school year.

• Colonial Intermediate Unit 20 — RWAN internet access, July 1 to June 30, 2026, and DDoS (Cloudflare) Protection, July 1 to June 30, 2025, combined cost of $823.05 per month.

• Purchase of Connect to Comprehension reading intervention kits, materials and bundles at a cost of $6,400.

• Pitney Bowes — Five-year lease agreement for postage meter for Pupil Service Department to be billed quarterly at $176.85.

• SuperEval — 2024-25 Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent Evaluation service, cost $2,582.

• Letter of Agreement with Carbon-Monroe-Pike Drug and Alcohol Commission Inc. for Drug and Alcohol Primary Prevention and SAP/Intervention Services for school year 2024-25, cost $37,000, to be paid by the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency Grant.

• The Palace Center — Pleasant Valley High School Class of 2025 prom venue on May 10, 2025.

• 2024-25 Winter Athletic Supplies and Equipment total cost is $4,873.60 — BSN, $156.80; Pyramid, $91.94; Riddell, $22.16; Sportsmans, $2,362.90; Triple Crown Sports, $340; and Varsity Spirit, $1,899.80.
