The Tamaqua Senior Citizens met on Sept. 12 with 25 members attending, welcoming back three members.

President Jean Machamer opened the meeting, and the invocation “Anticipation” read. The secretary and treasurer’s reports were accepted as read. There was a donation by two members.

The Christmas party will be Dec. 5 at noon at the Coaldale Complex, catered by Hess Catering of Schuylkill Haven.

The business meeting was closed by two members.

Bingo and cards were played and refreshments were served.

The next meeting is Sept. 19.
