Pleasant VY. - Personnel

The Pleasant Valley School Board approved the following personnel items at their meeting on Thursday:

• Affiliation agreement between Pleasant Valley School District and Kutztown University of Pennsylvania;

• Change to current assignment — Jennifer Green, food service employee, from PVHS to PVIS, replaced Lynne Palmese; and Dave Morton, PVMS, increased length of shift, replaced Laurie Kratz (change of assignment);

• Hiring of professional staff — Michelle Lee, school psychologist, new position, Step 7, $72,942, effective Dec. 3; and Sabreena Tichy, school nurse, Step 1, $52,642, replaced Tiffany Steigerwalt;

• Hiring of support staff — Crystal Bristol, monitor, PVHS, $11.81 per hour, replaced Jeni Tracy; and Chandra Gonzalez (new position) and Laura Venturini (replaced Destiney Young), food service employees, PVIS, $13.14 per hour; and Laticia’ Britton Marie, food service employee, PVMS, $13.14 per hour, Dave Morton (change of assignment);

• Hiring of support staff correction — Hilary Corbi, approved for PVES, correct is PVIS;

• Intramural advisers — Matthew Burnett and Christopher Beck, baseball, PVHS;

• Resignations — Justin Deleon, freshman football assistant; Susanne Rasely Philipps and Aleisa Kinsey, FBLA assistant advisers; Tanya Kresge, custodian; Laurie Rubin, food service employee;

• Retirement — Denise Hopely, teacher, PVHS, effective Sept. 4;

• Supplemental contracts: athletic — Alexandria Gibb and Lauren Black, unified sport, bocce ball, coach, split stipend, $500 each; Matthew Gould, soccer, junior high assistant, $3,699;

• Supplemental contracts: nonathletic — Lisa Wojton, Middle School National Junior Honor Society and Middle School Student Government, $1,800 and $1,600 respectively; Alexandria Gibb and James Shoopack, Middle School Yearbook, split stipend, $1,175 each;

• Supplemental contracts: athletic — Joseph Berezwick, boys basketball, varsity assistant, $4,920;

• Supplemental contracts: nonathletic — Aleisa Kinsey, 10th grade class adviser, $2,200; and Suzanne Rasely-Philipps, 9th grade class adviser, $2,000, and;

• Volunteers — Carole Lee Deemer, Kendra Sealy, Christine Vance, Shelli Bird, David Campbell, Francesca Couchman, Elizabeth Spece, Ashley Hicks, Rachel Christman, Matthew Izarek, Jaclyn Borger, Jenny Kane, Lindsay Dancho, Kate Benner, Samantha Jensen, Adrea Dispensa, and Hope Newell
