Craig W. Anderson, DMD, has joined the surgical staff of Valley Oral Surgery, the region’s premier provider of oral surgery and dental implants in the Lehigh Valley and surrounding areas.

He is joining Drs. Robert Laski, Jaime Cernansky, Niral Parikh and Joshua Gregory.

Anderson completed his undergraduate studies at the University of South Carolina, earning a Bachelor of Science in biology with a minor in chemistry in 2015.

While at South Carolina, Anderson was a patient of oral and maxillofacial surgery, undergoing reconstructive jaw surgery. This personal experience profoundly influenced his decision to pursue a career in the dental profession.

Following his undergraduate education, Anderson relocated to Charleston, South Carolina, where he obtained a Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2019.

While at MUSC, he was honored with the Arthur Haisten Scholarship, an award recognizing those who exemplify personal integrity and character in their professional development.

Anderson subsequently completed his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Minnesota in the Twin Cities in 2023. He was subsequently recognized as a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2024.

Upon finishing his residency, Anderson practiced in the Twin Cities while his spouse, Suzanne Anderson, who is also a dental school alumna, pursued her orthodontic residency and obtained a master’s degree in dentofacial orthopaedics.

Anderson specializes in a range of oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures, with particular interests in dentoalveolar surgery, wisdom tooth extraction, dental implants, corrective jaw surgery, maxillofacial trauma and maxillofacial pathology. He holds a staff appointment at Lehigh Valley Hospital.

Outside of his professional responsibilities, he and his wife enjoy spending time with their children, Sophia and Sullivan, as well as their miniature schnauzer, Piper.
