Slatington Borough Council has accepted with regrets the retirement of Borough Manager Dan Stevens.

He has been the manager since February 2020.

Previously, he had served on Borough Council from 2009 to 2014 and from 2018 to 2020. He served that body three times as president.

Stevens opened an antique shop on Main Street in 1988 and still does business at that location. In 1999 he became a member of Future Focus and currently serves as president of that organization. Future Focus was responsible for getting parts of Slatington declared a historical district and has contributed to a number of projects around town, including the placement of banners.
