Lower Towamensing Township supervisors recently took the following actions:

• Granted an isolation distance waiver request to David Kolek to have an on-lot septic system installed within 100 feet of the existing on-site well.

• Announced that the township is accepting letters of interest for a person to serve on the township’s planning commission.

• Awarded contracts for line painting to Guidemark Inc. and 2RC stone to New Enterprises.
