National Night Out in Coaldale had a change of venue.
Due to the rains predicted Tuesday evening, the event was moved inside to the Coaldale Complex.
The change, however, didn’t affect attendance, with dozens upon dozens gathered to spend the evening.
Coaldale police and fire company members were on hand, as were a number of community groups that introduced their services to the community.
The borough served up free flavored crushed ice, and hot dogs were available, too. A magic show presented by All About Magic with Jonathan and Amanda brought laughs from children and adults, and Justin Davis rolled magical balloon animals for young and old alike.
