Parking permits

Parking permits to be used only during school hours at the Tamaqua Area High School are available by lottery to senior and junior drivers.

Passes must be paid by cash when tags are distributed on Aug. 13. Each student will be given a numbered slot and is not permitted to park anywhere else on school property. Students will not be eligible for the lottery unless they have registered for the drug test.

Approximately 80 spaces are available and will be assigned according to a lottery. Students must have a valid driver’s license at time of application.

If a student receives a license during the year, then they may apply at that time.

For details, refer to the Tamaqua Area High School Student Handbook. Applications are due by July 31.
