The Tamaqua Area School Board handled the following personnel moves during its meeting Tuesday night:

• Approved Beth Jones of Tamaqua as an adult game worker and Randy Wasserleben of Tamaqua as a volunteer game worker.

• Approved the resignation of Brandon Scull, a full-time custodian, due to the abandonment of the position.

• Approved the resignations of Marta Monk, a West Penn Elementary first grade teacher, and Sabrina Gross, high school guidance counselor, with separation dates to be determined for both.

• Hired Kelly Klimowitch of Nesquehoning as a full-time social worker, at a salary of $58,055.59.

• Hired Ashley Swiezak, of Pottsville, as a career counselor, master’s Step 2, at a salary of $58,939.

• Hired Lacey Timony of Tamaqua as a substitute teacher.

• Ratified Jason Gerber, summer school teacher, at a stipend of $2,500.

• Reclassified Devin Murphy, from a RPT guidance counselor to a RPT social worker at a salary of $52,000.

• Reclassified Amy Walburn of Tamaqua, and Corinne Miller of Nesquehoning, from a part-time paraprofessionals to a full-time paraprofessionals.

• Hired Norlina Rex of Tamaqua, as a part-time paraprofessional at a rate of $12 an hour.
