Carbon County Court

The following people have been sentenced in the Carbon County Court of Common Pleas, with Judge Joseph Matika presiding:

• Jacob T. Allen, 34, Palmerton, pleaded guilty to the charge of accidents involving death or injury while not licensed. He was sentenced to serve 1 year of adult probation and ordered to complete 50 hours community service.

• Stanley K. Schoch, 60, Palmerton, pleaded guilty to the charge of public drunkenness and similar misconduct. He was sentenced to pay a $100 fine.

• Stephanie Lynn Kech, 45, Nesquehoning, pleaded guilty to the charges of conspiracy — theft by unlawful taking as well as theft of secondary metal charge. She was sentenced to 2-4 years imprisonment on the first charge and 6-24 months on the second charge of theft secondary metal, as well as 2-4 months on a third charge of DUI-controlled substance 1st offense. All charges run concurrently.

She was remanded to the Carbon County Correctional Facility and ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $2,550.50 and complete a long-term rehab program.

• Andrew Hunsicker, 31, Palmerton, pleaded guilty to the charges of use/possession of drug paraphernalia, possess small amount/distribute/not to sell, as well as tamper with public record/information. He was sentenced to serve 30 days and up to 6 months imprisonment in the Carbon County Correctional Facility.

• Clayton M. Eberly, 27, Palmerton, pleaded guilty to the charge of disorderly conduct hazardous/physical offense. He was sentenced to serve 6 months probation, undergo a DNA analysis, as well as complete 25 hours community service.

• Keith Khalil Freeman, 40, residence unknown, plead guilty to the charge of marijuana-small amount personal use. He was sentenced to serve 10-20 days in prison at the Carbon County Correctional Facility.
