July 6, 1952 - Bill Williams scatters seven hits over nine innings of work to lead Tamaqua to a 10-2 Tri-County League victory over Palmerton. Williams walks just two and strikes out 10. He receives plenty of offensive support as his teammates plate two runs in the first, second and fourth innings before adding four more in the fifth. John Dalcin ends with three of Tamaqua’s 17 hits, while Joe Tarconish adds a pair of hits - one a triple - and two runs. Charles Wolfe also contributes two hits and two runs. Bill Hood and Joe McGroarty both finish with two hits and a run.
