Drug test signups at Tamaqua

The Tamaqua Area School District will have registration for drug testing as per district policy from 8 to 10 a.m. on July 10 and 17 at the Athletic Center.

Students in seventh to 12th grades who intend to participate in any athletic activity, nonathletic club or organization, or who apply to park on school property will be subject to an initial random drug test. Any nonparticipant whose parent requests voluntary testing, will be eligible to participate in the random testing program.

Students need to provide a signed parent consent form before participating on one of those dates. Forms can be found at: https://www.tamaqua.k12.pa.us/Page/106.

Students who cannot attend either of the dates should contact Mike Hromyak, athletic director, at mhromyak@tamaquasd.org for other arrangements.

Becoming part of the random selection process is necessary before participating in any activity.
