Schuylkill man arraigned on drug charges after death

A New Ringgold man was arraigned last week on drug charges brought by state police investigating an overdose death in December.

David Osenbach, 42, was charged of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of small amount of marijuana.

He was committed to the Carbon County Correctional Facility in Nesquehoning in lieu of $75,000.

According to court papers, state police interviewed Osenbach following an overdose death and he admitted to possessing methamphetamine in his vehicle, and handled over a black, plastic storage container from the vehicle.

Police found 16.3 grams of methamphetamine, 3.10 grams of marijuana and numerous drug paraphernalia, including a digital scale, a glass spoon, a glass smoking device and a hypodermic needle, court paper said.

Osenbach told police that he is transient and primarily lives out of his car.
