State police at the Pocono barracks reported the following crashes on the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike:

• Police said a driver whose car sideswiped another vehicle at 11:30 p.m. May 19 at mile marker 75.1 in Parryville left the scene.

They said Geneva L. Holt, 41, of Moosic, was driving a 2020 Nissan Altima southbound when the runaway vehicle traveled into the left travel lane and sideswiped it. The Altima had functional damage. Holt was uninjured, police said.

• Tiffany Thompson, 29, of Lehighton, was uninjured when a 2022 Honda Civic she was driving struck two deer that were in the roadway at 5:18 a.m. May 18 at mile marker 58.1 in South Whitehall Township.
