Pennsylvania State Police Troop N - Stroudsburg responded to a shooting incident at 10:54 p.m. Friday at My Place Bar & Grill, 5138 Milford Road, Middle Smithfield Township, Monroe County.

Police said the victim was struck by gunfire and later died at Lehigh Valley Pocono Medical Center.

Police have issued an active warrant for a suspect, Matthew Herberto Morales, 30, a Black

Hispanic male from the Monroe County area.

State police said he is possibly armed and dangerous, so people should not approach him.

If seen, or you have any information on his whereabouts, people are asked to call 911.

This incident is currently being investigated by the Troop N Major Case Team along with the Monroe County District Attorney’s Office.
