Mrs. Maria A. Midas of 155 S. Second St., Lehighton, has been named office manager for the Lehighton office of Congressman James L. Nelligan. The office will be located in the Lehighton Municipal Building.

The congressman said Mrs. Midas has extensive background as an administrator and caseworker in schools and hospitals. Most recently, she has been active as an attendance supervisor in the Tamaqua Area School District.

The congressman also announced Mrs. Lorraine W. Roberts, 719 E. Main St., Weatherly, has been named caseworker-secretary in the office.

She has been employed in the bookkeeping department of several Hazleton companies, most recently the Hazleton National Bank.
