The Concerned Citizens Committee was officially organized last night during a meeting held in the Lehighton Municipal Building with Samuel Dolgopol being named its chairman.

Other officers are the Rev. Arthur Yeager, vice chairman, and Betty Seigendall, publicity/secretary.

More than 30 concerned representatives of various service and fraternal organizations attended the meeting.

The committee members will be responsible for forwarding complaints to the proper authorities.

Of main concern to members at this time are the teenage drinking problems and vandalism incidents that have been taking place in the community and surrounding area.
