Mahoning Township Supervisors took the following action on Wednesday:

• Granted permission for the Carbon Plaza to put a gate at the entrance off Mall Lane due to the influx of traffic entering and exiting the Carbon Plaza Mall via Mall Lane.

• Agreed to have the township engineer provide an inspection of Sage Meadows. The inspection is needed to see outstanding improvements at Sage Meadows, 15 acres, 10 lots.

• Agreed to have the police department purchase a server with a cloud-based system at a one-time fee of $3,354, and a monthly fee of $444.

• Postponed a request by the police department to purchase a speed display board at a cost of $3,953.

• Approved the BTS commercial subdivision for planning waiver and non-building declaration on Route 443 and Mall Lane for a possible Mavis Tire.

• Agreed to not rescind the conditional approval granted to the Merluzzi plan on March 13, but that they must reapply for the new plan under the new Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance.
