Daniel Zeigler of Coaldale, head of the Zeigler Detective Agency, was installed as second vice president of the Pennsylvania Northeast Chiefs of Police Association yesterday at Genetti’s Lodge, Hazleton.

More than 450 law enforcement officers and their ladies gathered therefor the association’s annual convention and dinner dance. Albert DeFrancesco, Hazleton, was seated as the new president.

Zeigler was elevated from third vice president to his new role and previously served as secretary. He formed his own detective agency in 1960 and previously was on the staff of the McCartney Detective Agency, Lansford, and served as a sergeant for the Endy Detective Agency, Tamaqua.
