Carbon County Court

The following sentences have been handed down in the Carbon County Court of Pleas by Judge Joseph Matika:

• Eric Legar, 52, of Summit Hill, was sentenced on a charge of driving under the influence-impaired ability, first offense, and was accepted into the ARD program for one year as well as ordered to pay a fine of $600.

• Joseph M. Kelly, 27, of Weatherly, was sentenced on a charge of driving under the influence-impaired ability, first offense, and was accepted into the ARD program for one year as well as ordered to pay a fine of $550.

• Santos Om Garcia Torres, 28, of Nesquehoning, was sentenced on a charge of driving under the influence-impaired ability, first offense, and was accepted into the ARD program for one year as well as ordered to pay a fine of $650.

• Michael Brogan, 40, of Summit Hill, was sentenced on a charge of driving under the influence-impaired ability, first offense, and was accepted into the ARD program for one year as well as ordered to pay a fine of $650.

• Kerry Gruber, 66, of Emerald, was sentenced on a charge of driving under the influence-impaired ability, first offense, and was accepted into the ARD program for one year as well as ordered to pay a fine of $650.

• Marygrace Conarty, 42, of Lehighton, was sentenced on a charge of driving under the influence-impaired ability, first offense, and was accepted into the ARD program as well as ordered to pay a fine of $600.

• Megan Drucker, 41, of Jim Thorpe, was sentenced on a charge of driving under the influence-impaired ability, first offense, and was sentenced to 6 months probation and ordered to pay a $1,000 fine.

• David Bloom, 41, of Weatherly, was sentenced on a charge of driving under the influence-impaired ability, highest rate of alcohol, and ordered to serve 6 months probation and pay a fine of $300.

• Freddie Knight, 51, of Palmerton, was sentenced on a charge of driving under the influence-impaired ability, fourth offense, as well as a use/possession of paraphernalia charge, and was ordered to serve a minimum of 2 months not more than 12 months in the Carbon County Correctional Facility. Both charges will run concurrently.

• Bobbi-Jo Hunsicker, 47, of Lehighton, was sentenced on a charge of driving under the influence-impaired ability, second offense, and was sentenced to serve 90 days not more than 2 years in prison and pay a fine of $1,500. She was granted 196 days time served against the sentence.

• Janelle Hope, 38, of Nesquehoning, was sentenced on a charge of driving under the influence-impaired ability, and was ordered to complete 6 months probation. She was also placed on electronic monitoring for a period of 10 days.

• Randolph Green, 46, of Palmerton, was sentenced on a charge of driving under the influence-impaired ability, and ordered to complete 6 months probation. He was also placed on electronic monitoring for a period of 30 days.

* Cheryl Endy, 56, of Whitehall, was sentenced on a charge of driving under the influence-impaired ability, second offense, and was ordered to complete 6 months probation. She was also placed on electronic monitoring for a period of 30 days.
