State police at Fern Ridge — crashes

State police at the Fern Ridge barracks reported the following crashes:

• A one-vehicle crash occurred at 9:05 p.m. April 19 on Interstate 80 in Tobyhanna Township.

Police said Justyn M. Cobbs, 28, of Springfield, New Jersey, was driving a 2006 Ford Expedition westbound when its front driver’s side tire disconnected from the vehicle causing him to loose control. The Expedition traveled across the left lane of traffic and onto the shoulder of the road where it struck a guide rail. The vehicle was towed from the scene. Alia B. Williams, 29, of Lawrenceville, New Jersey, and a 4-year-old boy were in the vehicle at the time of the crash.

No injuries were reported.

• Ryan Goida, 38, of Saylorsburg, was cited after a two-vehicle crash at 8:17 p.m. April 13 at the intersection of Old Route 115 and Route 209 in Chestnuthill Township. Police said the crash happened when Lori L. Garr, 59, of Bangor was driving a 2004 Volkswagen Jetta, eastbound on Route. 209 and was proceeding through traffic light to go east past Old Route 115 when it struck a 2017 Nissan Rogue operated by Goida. Police said both vehicles were towed from the scene. No injuries were reported.
