Leadership Carbon starts volunteerism scholarship

Leadership Carbon is launching a “Spirit of Volunteerism” scholarship fund through the Carbon County Community Foundation.

Leadership Carbon a group of leaders from various local businesses and organizations who attend this program. This program is hosted by Carbon Chamber and Economic Development Corp. in partnership with Lehigh Carbon Community College and offers the opportunity to learn about organizations’ needs in Carbon County.

This year’s class project recognized a lack of volunteerism is a community need and thus created a sustainable program which provides a win-win solution.
