Man facing DUI charges after crash

A 25-year-old Shenandoah man is facing charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance after a one-vehicle crash at 3:25 p.m. April 21 at the intersection of West Coal and North Main streets in Shenandoah.

Police said upon investigating the crash they observed signs of impairment on the man, who was asked to perform several field sobriety tests.

He was taken into custody and consent for a blood draw was obtained.

A 60-year-old woman from Ringtown who was involved in the crash is listed as a victim on the incident report.
