Dr. William Davidson, president of the Board of Directors of the Schuylkill United Way, announced today James R. Zigmant of Tamaqua will head the 1987 United Way appeal in the Tamaqua area.

Zigmant, vice president of the McAdoo office of the American Bank and Trust Company, will be working directly with Mrs. Frances Lorenz of Pottsville, the general chairperson for the campaign.

He has been active with the United Way for a number of years and has worked in the Tamaqua Area Business Division and the Tamaqua Residential Division in the past campaigns, as well as being a member of the board of directors of the organization.
