Penn State Agronomy guide webinar planned

The 2023-2024 Penn State Agronomy Guide offers the latest, research-based information on crops, soil and pest management.

For those interested in learning to navigate the guide to make informed management decisions, Penn State Extension educators will lead a webinar series, “How to Use the Penn State Agronomy Guide.”

The six-week series is designed for agricultural professionals, crop consultants, conservation district and Natural Resources Conservation Service staff, and farmers.

Webinars will take place from noon to 1:30 p.m. each Thursday from May 2 to June 6.

Each week, instructors will discuss different sections of the guide. Participants will learn how to use the tables in the guide and will engage in interactive discussions.

If attendees already own the guide, they can utilize it during the webinar series, organizers noted.

For those who do not own the guide, a digital copy is available with registration. Attendees are strongly encouraged to have the guide accessible during the webinars.

Participants can register through noon May 2 for a $25 fee without the digital guide included or pay $40 if they prefer to receive the digital guide. Registration is required to receive the link to access the webinars. Registrants also will receive access to the webinar recordings.

More information about the series is available on the Penn State Extension website at https://extension.psu.edu/how-to-use-the-penn-state-agronomy-guide.
