The winners of the “Spring Has Sprung” contest held by the Times News Circulation Department during the month of March were announced by Terry Foran, circulation manager.

First place winners were Larry Furey, Lansford, and Willie and Susie Cox, Lehighton. The winners were determined based on which carriers turned in the most new subscribers in their delivery area.

Second place winners were Terry Card, Lansford, Carmine Fatigati, Summit Hill, Mike Poplin and Lora Shaffer, Lehighton, and Dana Kralik, Slatedale, while third place winners included John Ruch, Walnutport, Willard Donner, Lehighton, Joe Porambo, Lansford, and Cheryl Horos and Annette Gorka, Coaldale.
