Letter to the editor: Democrats winning on abortion

Democrats can’t win on the economy, on the border, on inflation, on crime or on foreign policy. They think abortion on demand is their winning ticket in November. How can that be?

The troubled women protesting in front of Justice Kavanagh’s home prior to the Roe v. Wade court decision carried signs with slogans such as “Abortion on demand and without apology.” They wore clothes dripping in fake blood and screamed bloody murder as they banged naked baby dolls off of the pavements.

It is a myth to claim that overturning Roe v. Wade made abortion illegal. All it did was return the abortion issue back to each individual state. “The Great One,” Mark Levin, reported that since Roe v. Wade was overturned, abortions have grown in number by 10,000 per month (noted by the Guttmacher Institute for 2023). 1 million abortions occur every year in the US.

Forty-six Senate Democrats believe in abortion up to and including the point of birth. Some in Congress and the White House have also been fighting to pass the deceptively named “Women’s Health Protection Act (WHPA),” which would allow taxpayer funded abortion on demand, up until birth, for any reason at any time. Equally disturbing is the fact that 10,000 babies’ lives are lost each year from late term abortions that occur for elective reasons and take place over several days.

Voters, contemplate this. It was disgraced former Virginia Democrat Governor and Doctor, Ralph Northam, who said the following when a woman undergoes a third-trimester (7 to 9 month) abortion: “If a mother is in labor………the infant would be delivered. The infant would be kept comfortable. The infant would be resuscitated if that’s what the mother and the family desired, and then a discussion would ensue between the physicians and the mother.” Folks, this is murder. This is infanticide. Sadly, this is the Democrat Party today.

We must restore America’s humanity by defending the defenseless.

From Blessed Teresa of Calcutta: “It is a poverty to decide that a child must die so that you may live as you wish.”
