Effort student presents research project

An Effort student presented research at Centenary University.

Michael Tichy presented “Tri-Alpha: Centenary University’s First-Generation College Student Honor Society.”

Centenary student researchers and interns are mentored throughout the process by faculty who are experts in their fields.

Tichy also received the First Generation Student of the Year Award.

“At Centenary University, independent research and opportunities such as study abroad and professional projects shape the academic experiences of our students,” explained Amy D’Olivo, Ph.D., vice president for academic affairs.

“Beginning as early as freshman year, Centenary students have the option to work alongside faculty on in-depth research related to their field of study.”
