The Carbon County Area Agency on Aging will hold a free educational Medicare program on May 20 at the Lehighton Recreation Center, 243 S. Eighth St., Lehighton.

There are two sessions: from 3-4:30 p.m. and from 5:30-7 p.m.

The event will help those soon to be eligible for Medicare as well as those on Medicare. It will cover how and when to enroll; choosing the right plan; Parts A, B, C, D; and avoiding penalties.
