State police at the Fogelsville barracks reported the following incidents:

• A 67-year-old New Tripoli woman had $25,000 stolen from her in a theft by deception incident. Police said they were called on March 14 to a property on Logan Drive, Lynn Township.

The woman said she was “scammed” into depositing the money into two bitcoin kiosk machines.

• A 23-year-old New Tripoli woman is the victim of a theft by deception incident.

Police were called on March 13 to a property on Herber Toad, Lowhill Township.

Police said the woman received an email from the Huntington Bank stating an account was opened in her name.
