State police at the Fern Ridge barracks reported the following crashes:

• John G. Brunnquell, 24, of Effort, was in a one-vehicle crash at 4:16 a.m. Jan. 8 on the Jonas Road in Chestnuthill Township. Police said he was cited for “maximum speed limits.”

He was driving a 2015 Jeep Cherokee eastbound when he lost control. The Jeep left the road and hit a tree, resulting in serious damages. No injuries were reported.

• A 25-year-old Stroudsburg man is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol after a crash at 3:35 p.m. Jan. 15 on Route 715 in Chestnuthill Township.

Police said he was driving a 2019 Honda Civic when it crashed in the 600 block of Route 715.

• Ana E. Crespi, 64, of Effort, was in a crash at 8:36 p.m. March 1 on Sugar Hollow Road, Chestnuthill Township.

Police said she was driving a 2010 Subaru Forester when she swerved to avoid striking a deer that entered the road. She lost control of the vehicle, which traveled off the right side of the road and struck a tree. The car had disabling damages. No injuries were reported.
