Lansford and other residents of the Panther Valley School District communities can purchase season pool passes for Tamaqua’s H.D. Buehler Memorial Pool, which opens May 25.
Lansford Councilwoman Gwyneth Collevechio said Tuesday night that Tamaqua’s borough manager contacted her regarding 2024 Lansford Pool membership for people living in Lansford, Coaldale, Nesquehoning and Summit Hill.
Season pass applications will be available at Lansford Borough Hall, and must be returned to: Borough of Tamaqua, 320 E. Broad St., Tamaqua. Applications can be mailed or placed in the drop box at the main entrance.
Season passes start at $30 for senior citizens, age 60 and up; and single tags are $55. Family passes are at $105, for two people; $130, three; $155, four; $180, five; and $205, six.
Collevechio noted that Buehler pool will be closed next season, as Tamaqua moves forward with a new $3 million pool and upgrades. Tamaqua did receive grant funds for the pool, she said.
