A 67-year-old Kunkletown woman is facing a charge of cruelty to animals after an incident police were called to at 5:28 p.m. March 20 on Interchange Road in Polk Township.

Police said the woman reported her dog was stolen from her car at Sunny’s Quick Mart.

The investigation revealed the woman threw the dog out of her car window prior to arriving at the business, police said.
