• April 13, Wildlife of the Watershed: Seasonal Series, 10-11:30 a.m., Dorothy Rider Pool Wildlife Sanctuary, 3701 Orchid Place. Spring is in the air! Join us and learn all about the native wildlife of the Lehigh Valley: seasonal wildlife migration, offspring, and behavioral changes. • April 13, Get Out! for Wellness: Bear Swamp Boardwalk and Minsi Lake, 10 a.m.-noon. Bear Swamp Boardwalk and Minsi Lake, 1280 Lake Minsi Drive, Bangor. Hike through a pleasant forest in Upper Mount Bethel Township, then cross Lake Minsi Drive to the Boardwalk around Bear Swamp to view turtles, frogs, tadpoles and spring flowers. • April 20, Get Out! for Wellness: Wildlands’ Black River Sanctuary, 10 a.m.-noon. Wildlands Conservancy’s Black River Sanctuary, 1310 Black River Road, Bethlehem. Wildlands Conservancy recently bought 187 acres across the road from Franko Farm Recreation Area. 3 mile hike, accessing fine views of the Lehigh Valley; this area is a stopover for migrating birds.
